You'd probably given up on Blogfest '11. But Bent, Sunny, Jay Bremmer (pictured), Steve Widmyer, and I put our heads together at Steve's Fortgrounds Tavern and arrived at a time, place, and food fare. Bent, who's gaining local renown with Bent BBQ's Santa Maria Grill, and Jay (who owns Limp Brisket BBQ) will cook the meet for Huckleberries Summer Bentfest at the Fortgrounds Tavern. And Steve (as the official Blogfest title indicates) will provide the venue and side dishes. We're scheduling the event for 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 24. We'll have more about all this as the time grows closer. BTW, Jay is pictured above cooking chicken on Bent BBQ's Santa Maria Grill in front of the Eagles last weekend.
