Kan. Rep: Sorry for Skinny Dipping in Galilee

Republican Congressman Kevin Yoder of Kansas is apologizing for swimming naked in the Sea of Galilee while on a fact finding mission to Israel.  About 20 other congressmen and staffers also swam but Yoder was the only one that swam naked.  Swimming in the Sea of Galilee is allowed but public nudity is a crime.

"It's an embarrassing situation, and I regret it," Yoder said during an interview on public radio station KCUR-FM in Kansas City, Mo. "I know that many constituents out there are sort of scratching their heads, saying, 'What is this guy up to? What was he doing? What was he thinking?'"  More here

Yeah - what was he thinking?  "I'm a Congressman.  Everyone else is swimming.  I wish I had brought my suit.  I guess I'll go in naked.  What could possibly go wrong?"
