Set To Record: Hotel Hell

In an article in today's CdA Press, the owners of the Roosevelt Inn, John and Tina Hough, are finally able to break their silence about their time filming reality show Hotel Hell with Chef Gordon Ramsay.

The B&B became a television studio complete with cameras throughout thehotel.  The Houghs wore mics and dealt with cameras up close and personal 15 hours per day.   The famous and outrageous chef, Gordon Ramsay derided everything.

The chef mocked everything, John said, naming things right and left as "completely, total, f-ing rubbish." He dubbed John an "unfeeling husband" because his wife never takes vacations.

"That's his shtick," John said, adding that the rain of abuse wasn't a surprise. "I was kind of his whipping boy."  The episode will air Monday, Sept. 3  on Fox.  Read more here.  AP File Photo/Las Vegas

Would it be worth it to appear on a reality show?  I've heard some stories from those that were present during the filming.  It sounded like a terrible experience.  I'll be tuning in, though -- out of morbid curiousity.  I've been wondering how this can be a good thing in the end.
