It's day three of DFO in exile for those of us at HBO Central.  Cindy Hval is doing warm-up stretches in the bull pen before taking the pitcher's mound starting Thursday.  In the meantime, I am blogging away while keeping an eye on the newest member of the family, Hooligan Hazel.  My new puppy is living up to his name (you may recall when he visited the SR CdA office, he promptly piddled in the lobby).  One quickly forgets how puppies are: energetic, needy and demanding.   Hooligan has required a man-to-man defense.  Sometimes I wish I could fast forward to the trained part because I'm struggling with the process.  Or that maybe we had named him a calmer name, like Zen, for him to live up to.
