Do Coaches Prize Football Over Ed?

KCres: My 2 sons have both discovered that they don’t get the full support of teachers in the classroom when football season is under way and the teacher puts football coaching first.

Question: In your experience, do the high school football coaches who teach academics in the classroom (as opposed to physical education-related classes) make good teachers?
