Petrino Doesn’t Keep Gesser On Staff

New Idaho football coach Paul Petrino has at least part of his staff complete. He has hired Bryce Erickson, the son of former Vandals coach Dennis Erickson, while The Spokesman-Review has learned Petrino will retain tight ends coach Al Pupunu and bring in Washington graduate assistant Mike Anderson as linebackers coach. Anderson is a former UI linebacker who also was a GA at Idaho. Pupunu is the only coach from the previous staff that has been retained at this point, according to a source. Offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Jason Gesser, who served as UI's interim coach the last four weeks of the season, will not return/Josh Wright, SR SportsLink. More here. Question: Are you sad to see Gesser go?
