A CdA Christmas song

“Now Dasher! Now Dancer! Now Prancer and Vixen! On Comet! On Cupid! On Donder and Blitzen!” shouts Santa at the end of the Journey to the North Pole Fantasy cruise on Lake Coeur d’Alene. (J. Rayniak / The Spokesman-Review)

First, take Tubbs Hill, Sherman Avenue and The Coeur d'Alene Resort. Mix in falling snow, twinkling lights, silent night and firelights. Then, bring in people with packages, good cheer, and a magical time of the year.Add music to those lyrics, and you've got a "Coeur d'Alene Christmas."

Husband and wife team Laura Sable and Bill Wiemuth co-wrote the song that was released on the radio this week, and is the closing number of the popular "Cool Yule," holiday music show at The Resort.

"We wanted something that would make people feel very proud about being from Coeur d'Alene, being from this area," Sable said. More. Bill Buley, Cda Press
