I followed an interesting discussion between The Governor and JohnA on the Mary: Hold onto your wallets thread this weekend.

For all DFO's dissing of my Spokane home, I've got far deeper CdA roots than he. My Grandpa owned the Hayden Feed Store for many years and sat on the CDA school board in the '40's. He owned a Dalton Gardens area farm /orchard prior, and he and my grandmother are buried in CdA.  My Uncle Jack was a beloved Cda/Hayden mailman until his retirement, and my mom graduated from Cda High in 1949.

That said, I was facinated by the discussion of the future of the Lake City. Is the current City government spending too much? Who will feel welcome in CdA in the years to come? And  is the current administration spending more on wants or needs?

Good questions to ponder. What brought you to the Lake City?
