Experiencing Winter In North Idaho

  • Chris Harrison of Hayden describes the quintessential Hayden snow shoveling experience: "You just finish digging out the berm left by the snow plow, move on to clear off the sidewalk and then watch in amazement as the plow comes by for one more round and creates a whole new berm ... why, Hayden, why?" Has this happened to you?
  • Then, there's Shannon Forbes of Coeur d'Alene: "Well that sucked! I dug out our mailbox after the snowplow went by and all the mailman brought me was a bill :( "
  • And this from Phil Corless of Coeur d'Alene: "My son just made $20 shoveling the neighbor's driveway. I hope it snows A LOT the next few weeks!"

Question: What do you consider to be the "quintessential" North Idaho winter experience?
