That the United Conservatives of North Idaho wing of the Kootenai County GOP CC succeeded last night in gaining $1200 from the GOP kitty to conduct 6 workshops to fight the county's proposed United Land Use Code. The planners believe they can stage the meetings for $200 apiece if they can get free venues. The motion passed after an amendment by Precinct Committeeman Duane Rasmussen was defeated. Rasmussen had tried to get an equal amount of money reserved to spend on actual Republican candidates. There was discussion re: whether or not to invited the three Republican county commissioners to the series of meetings.
