Union Gospel To Open CdA Shelter

The hundreds of homeless women and children in Kootenai County will soon have a place of refuge. The Union Gospel Mission is opening a 42,000 square foot facility on 196 W. Haycraft in COEUR d' Alene designed to provide "rescue, recovery, and restoration" to its visitors. There is a dedication ceremony set for August 1st at 2pm. Public tours of the building will be available on August 1st and 2nd from 3-7pm. The Mission will officially open September 4th, after the Labor Day weekend.
