Boat Trailer Compromise Graphic

Do you remember that proposed compromise re: the boat-trailer parking that inadvertently upset Councilman Dan Gookin, who felt left out of the loop last week? Well, here's the graphic (area circled in black) that shows where Team McEuen is planning to put some 32 spots, moving them closer to the Third Street dock boat launch. Coeur d'Alene Press story here.

DFO: One thing amusing about this graphic & compromise involving the boat-trailer parking? By muncipal election 2013, many of us might be using and enjoying the new McEuen Park. Which would cause a significant healing in the community -- and a lot of support for the incumbents should they choose to run again. It might be a situation similar to the Education Corridor. Before the infrastructure was put in place, the community couldn't envision the change. Now, I'd guess, the community is excited re: what's happening on the old DeArmond mill site. Just sayin'.
