Poll: Think Before Hitting ‘Send’

  • Wednesday Poll: A large majority of Hucks Nation say Councilman Dan Gookin was wrong to fire off an angry email to City Administrator Wendy Gabriel last week. 72 of 227 (31.72%) respondents said Gookin should "think before hitting send." Another 68 of 227 (29.96%) said Gookin's blistering email was "hostile and demeaning." On the other side, 47 (20.7%) voted for "he apologized, let's move on." 25 (11.01%) said Gookin "had a right to be angry." 12 (5.29%) dismissed flap as a "tempest in a teapot." And 3 (1.32%) marked "other."
