Letter: Bah To Idaho GOP Caucus

My husband and I did our patriotic and civic duty and went to the Republican Caucus. We live in Hayden Lake, but District No. 16 had to go to Lakeland High School in Rathdrum for the caucus. Whose bright idea was that?  Anyway, it started at 5 p.m. and at 9 p.m., after one vote we left. After counting the votes they discovered some votes stuck in one of the boxes. Does “hanging shad” sound familiar? What was wrong with having a primary? If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Never again!/Patricia Evans of Hayden, letter to Coeur d'Alene Press editor.

Question: Would you support the caucus system for the 2016 presidential primary, with tweaks? Or would you prefer that Idaho Republicans return to a primary election in May?
