Idaho GOP Platform: Nullification

Huckleberries Online continues to break down the Idaho Republican Party platform, plank by plank. So far, Hucks Nation has thoroughly disagreed with 2 planks presented. 95% opposed the GOP-backed repeal of the 17th Amendment (allowing voters rather than the Legislature to pick the state's U.S. senators). 79.5% (89 of 112 respondents) oppose the Idaho GOP-backed idea of abolishing the Federal Reserve & restoring the gold and silver standard. Marty Trillhaase/Lewiston Tribune provides fodder for today's GOP plank question:

Touching off a new Civil War by openly defying federal laws. Known as nullification, the concept has been repudiated by credible constitutional scholars, the U.S. Supreme Court and Attorney General Lawrence Wasden.

Question: Do you support the idea of nullification — that idea can choose to ignore federal laws?
