JohnA: I Don’t Recall

A verse appeared upon my table
It was from Mister Kane.
I looked to see if Kane was able
To recall judgment gain.

As we all know and some will state
When someone’s claims are made.
A monument they then create
Where grievances are laid.

A city torn, it daily seems
And always its McEuen.
Do we create a Field of Dreams
Or leave it to its ruin?

Upon this issue some will say
Voters will remember.
To that I note they’ll have their day:
It’s coming next November.
