Idaho GOP Bankrolls Nevada Flyers

By all accounts, Gov. Mitt Romney can count on Idaho’s electoral votes next Tuesday. But the state is helping the Republican presidential candidate in other ways. The Idaho Republican Party is paying for Romney campaign mailers in Nevada. The party is part of a joint fundraising agreement with fundraising committee Romney Victory, Inc., that allows Romney supporters to put big bucks into the campaign. The maximum amount an individual can donate to Romney Victory, Inc. is $75,800 — far more than the $5,000 per election cycle an individual can contribute directly to Romney’s campaign/Melissa Davlin, Capitol Confidential.
