From Renata McLeod's draft minutes of the Tuesday's Coeur d'Alene City Council meeting:
“COUNCILMAN GOOKIN: Stated that several citizens have expressed concern about the proposed new tower at 1st and Lakeside Avenue. He expressed that the downtown looked different 20 years ago than today, as it used to be historical and quaint. He is concerned with height restrictions for the future and hopes the City exams this code.” (Complete minutes here)
Question: Should the city of Coeur d'Alene resurrect height restrictions in the central business core — or is that horse already out of the barn?
