Poll: We Don’t Shop Black Friday

  • Thursday Poll: 140 of 191 respondents (73.3%) said they never shop on Black Friday. Only 13 (6.81%) said they always shop on the day after Thanksgiving. 38 (19.9%) said "sometimes."
  • Christmas Music: 60 of 158 respondents (37.97%) said Christmas music shouldn't start until Dec. 1. 59 of 158 (37.34%) said Christmas music should start on Black Friday. Others: 28 (17.72%) voted "bah, humbug"; 6 (3.8%) are OK with Christmas music pre-Thanksgiving; and 5 (3.16%) don't mind hearing Christmas music year round.
  • Better Drivers? 38 of 68 (55.88%) consider themselves to be better drivers than their spouses; 17 (25%) said they and their spouses drive equally well; 11 (16.18%) voted "neither"; and 2 (2.94%) were undecided.
