Foster Leads Wolfinger In Fundraising

Independent candidate Bob Foster has raised more than two times as much money as Republican Major Ben Wolfinger in the race to replace retiring Kootenai County Sheriff Rocky Watson. During the latest reporting period, Foster (report here) has raised $7368 to Wolfinger's $2,446 (report here). Overall, much of the money raised by Wolfinger to date ($13,917 total) was spent for his bruising GOP primary win over a tough field that included Keith Hutcheson and John Green. Foster has raised a total of $10,143 to date. Among the top contributors to Foster are: Wayne & Charlene Knutsen ($575), Coeur d'Alene Peace Officers Associatin ($535), and Ron & Sally Hotchkiss ($315). Top contributors to Wolfinger are: Bret Dirks ($1000) and Kevin Decker ($300)
