Jeff Ward: Why I Am Not A Democrat

After watching the Democratic National Convention, Jeff Ward of the Kootenai County Reagan Republicans posted this weekly newsletter comment:

For me the Democratic Convention was a rousing success. It made crystal clear to me why I am not a Democrat and why I could never support Barrack Obama. I believe in and honor God as my primary purpose in life . . . not as a politically motivated afterthought. I believe this county was built by the blood, sweat and tears of generations of Americans. THEY BUILT THIS . . . not the federal government. I believe, as the founders did, the government belongs to me and my fellow citizens. I do not belong to the government. I refuse to be a slave. I believe I have the right to control my own body, including making my own choices about my health care . . . but not including killing another human being. More here.
