McEuen Project Hurts Downtown Biz

The controversial McEuen Park renovation in Coeur d’Alene is officially underway. The multi-million dollar project involves closing part of busy Front Avenue by Lake Coeur d’Alene.  It means some parking spots will disappear because several roads are closed for construction. Wiggetts Marketplace sits in the shadows of excavators and road closed signs.  Owner Carolyn Berry said the construction was already impacting business.  She said they’ve seen a decrease in customers due to the decrease in parking/KREM. More here.

Question: Are you avoiding downtown Coeur d'Alene as a result of McEuen Field construction and lack of parking?
