CdA Man Arrested In Coins Burglary

A 24-year-old Coeur d'Alene man is facing several charges in a residential burglary in which a quantity of gold and silver coins were taken from the 900 block of N16th early Sunday morning. Derek D. Hague was arrested at 8 p.m. Tuesday by Coeur d'Alene police and the North Idaho Violent Crimes Task Force. Detectives contacted Hague in the area of 14th Street and Young Avenue. Hague ran from officers. After a foot pursuit through area neighborhoods, he was captured. Hague has also been charged with a felony possession of drugs, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and misdemeanor obstructing. The investigation is on-going. Original story here.
