11:47 a.m. Police have cleared the scene at the 300 block of S10th Street. The person who reported this incident appears to have mental issues. The witness stated to police that he observed a man with a gun holding four women hostage inside a home. Officers discovered that no assault occurred with a firearm, and there was no hostage situation./CPD Blue release.

  • 11:56 a.m. Male @ Rose Terrace Cottages reports attack by patient, who's now walking s/b on 21st Street/CdA.
  • 11:48 a.m. Male on Ohio Match Road/Rathdrum tells friend by text that he's taken 40 "hydros" in suicide attempt resulting from recent break-up with girlfriend.
  • 11:35 a.m. Driver of black Suzuki possibly impaired @ s/b H95/H54, Athol.
  • 11:31 a.m. Male w/long hair, goatee & shirtless may be smoking meth @ Govt Way/Homestead, CdA.
  • 11:24 a.m. Officer en route to handle report of wanted male @ DMV, CdA.
  • 11:07 a.m. Motorist in Dodge Ram in KCSD lot has info re: motorcycle theft.
  • 11:02 p.m. Coeur d’Alene Police Officers are currently on scene in the 300 block of S10th street for a possible assault with a firearm. Citizens are asked to take alternate routes, and avoid the area until law enforcement can resolve the issue. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
  • 10:41 a.m. Undisclosed medical emergency involving 78YO female @ Garden Plaza/Post Falls.
  • 10:18 a.m. Driver of tan KIA van possibly impaired on n/b H95, from Worley.
  • 10:17 a.m. Citizen dispute reported @ Carlton/Nautical, Rathdrum.
  • 10:09 a.m. Undisclosed emergency reported @ 8200 block of Ridgewood Loop, CdA.
  • 9:44 a.m. Custodial interference reported on Jensen Drive/Hayden.
  • 9:20 a.m. 2-vehicle crash on Lancaster, west of Govt Way, injures 1, pins female driver in vehicle.
  • 8:51 a.m. CPD Blues are looking for 2000 Dodge Durango, with Nevada plates and a "Liberty Motors" sticker on bumper that was stolen from 600 block of Appleway.
  • 8:23 a.m. Follow-up to residential burglary requested @ Goerig/Dakota, Hayden.
