A Steer Who Thinks It’s A Horse

Babe was a pig that trained to be a sheep dog. Sabré Soderbeck of Rathdrum has raised a steer that may think it's a horse. The 12-year-old girl is showing her market steer (minus the saddle) in 4-H at the North Idaho Fair today and Thursday. Her mom, Shannel, said Sabré loves rodeo and horseback riding and just decided one day to throw a saddle on her steer, named Mudslinger, and climb on up. The bovine was alright with that, though it doesn't exactly trot or turn on command. Sabré also incorporated rodeo into her stall décor. After all, the fair theme this year is "Everything Under the Sun," so anything goes. Even a steer that hopes to avoid market under the guise of a horse/Scott Maben, SR. (Courtesy photo)

Question: What is the oddest animal that you've ever ridden? Moi? A circus elephant.
