Three people were taken to Kootenai Health after a three-car accident at NW Blvd/River Avenue Tuesday afternoon, including one in critical condition. The crash occurred at 4:21 p.m. when a car driven by Joseph M. Rupeka, 62, of East Freedom, Penn., rear-ended a 1996 Chevy Lumina criven by Carolynn C. Mckasty, 19, of Post Falls, pushing Mckasty's vehicle into intersection, where it was struck by car driven by Carl George, 57, of Coeur d'Alene. KHQ story here, and: ISP report here. (KHQ photo)
