Lahr Resigns As RRepub President

Ron Lahr has resigned as president of the Kootenai County Reagan Republicans and as president of the Jacklin Arts & Cultural Center. In a phone interview moments ago, Lahr told Huckleberries that he needs to focus on "doing that Republican thing, of making money." Lahr owns Custom Tile, which is responsible for decorative tile work at Boys & Girls Club, Liberty Lake Library & Post Falls Chamber of Commerce building. The volunteer work, he said, is taking time away from his business. Lahr didn't attend the Reagan Republican luncheon today, where the announcement was made. 1st Vice President Jeff Tyler will assume the role as president of the organization until new officers are selected in January. Lahr will remain on a board member of the Reagan Republicans, which he helped found.

DFO: I hate to see this b/c Ron is most level-headed member of this organization.
