When people throw money at high-risk ventures -- businesses, technologies or even political causes - they earn monikers such as gamblers, optimists or even visionaries. As long as they're playing with their own money, that is. It's something altogether different when they waste your money on a near impossibility. Such is the case with Sen. Chuck Winder, R-Boise, and the lawmakers who follow him. Before he gained national notoriety trying to impose vaginal ultrasounds on women seeking abortions, Winder had promoted a bill outlawing abortions after 20 weeks.
