Poll: ‘Merry Christmas’ Has Support

  • Thursday Poll: You're probably safe in the Inland Northwest in wishing a stranger "Merry Christmas." 127 of 256 respondents (49.61%) said they preferred "Merry Christmas" greeting to "Happy Holidays." Another 92 of 256 respondents (35.94%) said either greeting was fine. Only 22 of 256 respondents (8.59%) preferred "Happy Holidays." 14 (5.47%) voted "bah, humbug!" 1 respondent (0.39%) was undecided.
