Vik Coach Leiss Rescinds Resignation

Kent Leiss, who resigned his job as the Coeur d'Alene boys coach last Friday, rescinded his resignation Wednesday afternoon. Leiss stepped down two days after a group of disguntled parents met with school administrators alleging verbal abuse. "Upon further review and reflection, I'm innocent of these accusations and charges, Leiss said he wrote in a letter he handed to CdA athletic director Todd Gilkey. Leiss said he needs to clear his name. "I want to go through the process ... and show that these accusations aren't true," Leiss said/Greg Lee, SR.

  • Greg Lee prediction: "Here's my prediction: Kent Leiss will be allowed to return. CdA officials want as little controversy right now as possible."

Question: Should Coeur d'Alene High/School District allow Kent Leiss to continue coaching basketball?
