CPD Releases Rape Suspect Drawing

The Coeur d’Alene Police Department has released an artist’s rendering of the man suspected of trying to rape a woman on Jan. 11 near North Idaho College. A 21-year-old woman told police she was attacked by a man around 10:45 p.m. while walking near West Hubbard Avenue and North College Drive. The drawing is based on the victim’s recollection. The suspect is described as being about 5‘9”, of average build and about 35 to 40 years old. He had blondish/red facial hair, a mustache and stubble, and was wearing a brown Carhartt-style jacket, a gray beanie hat and boots. Anyone with information is asked to call the Coeur d’Alene Police Department at (208) 768-2320/SR. (Drawing: Coeur d'Alene Police Department)
