Early Bird Gets The Territory

On his Facebook wall, Robin Loznak of Kellogg, Ore., posts: "A male red-winged blackbird belts out his territorial song from a perch on a cattail in a marsh at an abandoned timber mill near Roseburg, Ore. (last week)." You can see more of Robin's outdoor photographs here.
