For Those Keeping Score At Home …

... Workers are removing ponderosa trees in the education corridor to expand the sewer plant to the northeast. At least that's what sports scribe Greg Lee and I were told Wedneday when we walked through there. Actually, we had to detour because the road past the island of trees, just east of Harbor Center, was blocked by signs. Workers were still removing the towering pines on Thursday. They seem to be trying to leave a skirting of trees to keep the overall green appeal of the property.
