Post Falls 46, Coeur d’Alene 44 In OT

In Nampa, Mark Nelke/Coeur d'Alene Press reports via Twitter that Post Falls won its first girls state title since 2003 by stopping rival Coeur d'Alene 46-44 in overtime. Tweets Mark: “Last second shot falls off…Post Falls wins the state 5A championship 46-44 in overtime against Coeur d'Alene girls.” This is Post Falls first 5A state championship since its back-to-back state titles in the early 2000s were at the 4A level. Congratulations to the two best girls basketball teams in the state of Idaho.
