Speaking Of Ron Lahr …

... The Reagan Republican president tells Huckleberries that he has a speaking line of 4 words in "The Crucible," which will be performed at the Jacklin Arts & Cultural Center, 405 William St., Post Falls, March 7-9, 14-16, under the direction of Jared Helm. Tongue firmly cheeked, Ron said: "The subject matter appealed to me." Of play is Arthur Miller's tale of fear and accusation, focusing on the Salem witch trials in Massachusetts during 1692 and 1693. Ron notes that two other Reagan Republican board members are involved in this JAC production: Jeff Ward and Lori Gervais. He only smiled when Huckleberries asked if the Reagan Republicans have taken a position on witch trials. (BTW, two of my favorite young people, Keenan & Amanda Bianchi, are performing the lead roles.) Tickets cost $15/$10students. For more information or to book tickets, please call 208-457-8950.
