Council: $4M More For McEuen Field?

Around two dozen proposed additions, accounting for roughly $4 million, make up the difference between McEuen Field project plans the City Council could decide upon tonight. The park designers, Team McEuen, are proposing the city include the amenities in the plan before the project breaks ground in early 2013. If approved tonight, the additional amenities and park project could be completed by November. Including tennis courts, basketball courts, and expanded utility and trail connections would help make the park a one-of-a-kind public space once it's completed, they said. The proposal for the additions was pitched last week, transforming what had been an estimated $14.2 million plan into a $16.8 million to $17.6 million one. All additions had been part of earlier design drafts/Tom Hasslinger, Coeur d'Alene Press. More here.

Question: Do you support adding the additional money to the McEuen Field makeover project?
