Photographer Duane Rasmussen spotted this fellow in Ironwood Starbucks Sunday. Reports Duane: "I asked him if I could take his photograph.  He smiled and said okay. I introduced myself.  He said 'My friends call me Merlin' then paused and said, 'but if you want my legal name it is Kevin.' He was carrying a dramatic cane with a silver head but what caught my attention was the huge feather he had in his hat.  He said he is not originally from Coeur d'Alene but has lived here for some time.  He frequently comes to Starbucks after church, he said."
