Spokesman Laura Rumpler of the Coeur d'Alene School District circulated the following message and attachment re: Person Field to school district staff 2 hours ago:
“Much attention has been placed on the school district's and City of CdA's negotiations surrounding the sale of our portion of Person Field. Many news stories and social media discussions have circulated. Unfortunately there is a lot of misinformation out there. As ambassadors to our community, we felt it important to share factual information about this topic with our staff. The School Board and City Council will meet tonight at 5 p.m. in the Community Room in the City Library. It will also be televised on Channel 19.”
