New Sheriff To Be Sworn In Monday

Kootenai County will hold its swearing in ceremony for newly elected officials at 10 a.m. Monday in the Administration Building, Room 1. Those officials being sworn in are:

  • W. Todd Tondee – Commissioner
  • Daniel H. Green – Commissioner
  • Barry McHugh – Prosecuting Attorney
  • Benton E. Wolfinger - Sheriff

Tondee, Green & McHugh are incumbents who won re-election. Wolfinger is the only one of the group who will be sworn in for the first time as an elected official. The public is welcome to attend the ceremony.
