Stewart: Racial Jokes ‘Hurtful’

There's another thing worth mentioning from the presser involving the Kootenai County Task Force on Human Relations response to Trustee Brent Regan's insensitive, anti-Obama remark -- derogatory ethnic jokes. Tony Stewart, long-time local human rights leader, said of such jokes: "One of the most harsh forms of hurtful discrimination is racial jokes. They're degrading and hurts (others') self esteem."

Question: What do you do when you hear a joke that targets another's race or religion?
