On The Waterfront — 6.27.13

Greg Lee & I ran into Walkabout along the waterfront during our daily noon walks. We exchanged pleasantries on the Dike Road walking path along North Idaho College Beach. Yesterday, I spotted my new neighbor Kathy & a friend walking in the same area. Quite a few regulars walk the waterfront during the noon hour. I've become nodding acquaintances with some. In the old "Hobo Jungle" portion of the Centennial Trail, east of the H95 bridge, I noticed the Trail Tagger is back, leaving graffiti scat on the back side of a stop sign. Someone has sprayed over the rest of his work. The beaches and waterways had moderate use today, as the day was warm and humid but not hot. At the eastern entrance to City Park, I noticed only a handful of angst-filled youth hanging out. That's where F-bomb Girl usually holds court. She wasn't there today. I wished I could come up with a name for that hang-out spot. Something like Drop-Out Corner. So I could short hand the spot. For the record, I wore shorts today.
