Trustee Seddon Files For Election

Huckleberries has learned ... that appointed Coeur d'Alene School Board Trustee Ann Seddon (shown in this Duane Rasmussen photo) filed her candidacy papers today to run for the board this spring.

From Ann Seddon news release: Retired teacher Ann Seddon filed on Thursday to run for a second term on the Coeur d’Alene School Board in zone 4.Seddon, who was appointed to fill a vacancy in May 2012, seeks a full term to continue her work on the Board of Trustees; specificallyadvancing education reform, continuing her work to enhance student competency in basic math skills, tackling the serious problem of graduating students needing college remediation and ensuring the district is fiscally responsible. She believes an effective character education program is needed in all Coeur d’Alene Schools.
