Eubanks: Don’t Arm Teachers

One of the fun moments of last night's Coeur d'Alene Education Partnership debate:

The crowd erupted in laughter when (Zone 4 candidate Dave) Eubanks was asked if he thinks teachers should be armed, as a safety measure. "I know too many teachers to say 'Yes,' to that," Eubanks said. Once the audience quieted, he said he thinks arming teachers is a "very bad idea." More here.

DFO: I didn't know a thing about Dave Eubanks going into the two trustee forums over the last week. I've come away with the impression that he is intelligent, knowledgeable & a quick wit. He would be a dyne-oh!-mite board member.

Question: Should school teachers and administrators be armed?
