CPD Takes Naked Man Into Custody

At about 7:34 p.m. Wednesday, Coeur d’Alene officers were dispatched to a disorderly male in the area of Fourth Street and Whispering Pines. The 911 Center advised officers that a male was naked, jumping on cars, getting in and out of cars, and screaming and running at people. As officers arrived on scene in the 3700 block of Whisper Drive they saw several people had the male on the ground and were holding him down. The neighbors let the male go as soon as officers arrived. The male suspect got up off the ground and became combatant and unresponsive to officers. The male was shouting out obscenities and sentences that did not make any sense. He had defecated on himself and was continuously was grabbing his buttocks, and smearing feces on his hands and the back of his lower torso. He also had blood on his body from small injuries/Sgt. Christie Wood, Coeur d'Alene Police Department. More here.

Question: Are you ever amazed at the types of squirrelly people and things that police handle?
