I'm extremely saddened by the news that Coeur d'Alene Councilman Mike Kennedy lost his mother over the weekend. I've known this since Monday. But didn't know how to tell you about it until Mike posted the following on his Facebook page: "Mom's funeral mass has been set for this Friday, May 10th, at St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Fort Pierce, Florida at 10 am. There will be a reception to follow the mass. The funeral home handling the arrangements is Haisley Funeral Home in Fort Pierce.
