North Idaho College welding students and their guests chow down on barbecue chicken and hamburgers Thursday at the welding facility in Coeur d’Alene. About 100 people showed up for what is becoming an annual event to eat and look at some of the projects the welding students completed. Benches for the Athletics Department, artwork for the student union building and other projects were on view. The food was cooked in a grill/smoker created by last year’s welding class.
