Armed Robbers Hit Piggie’s Deli

An East Sherman Avenue quick stop was robbed at gun point by two males shortly after 5 this morning. Two males entered Piggie's Deli and Gas Market at 5:06 a.m., pointed handgun at the cashier and demanded money. Both males had red bandanas covering their faces. The first male is described as approximately 5’ 7” to 5’ 8”, grey and black hooded sweatshirt, grey sweat pants with black stripe, black shoes. The second male is described as approximately 5’ 7” to 5’ 8”, grey hooded sweatshirt, long dark shorts, white shoes. This is the third recent armed robbery. Dutch Bros. Coffee of Northwest Boulevard and Hayden KFC also were subject to armed robberies. In mid-October, a male who said he had a gun robbed the Alpine Store in Garwood.
