CdA Woman Reports Kidnapping

At approximately 3:35 p.m. today, Coeur d’Alene Police officers responded to the 400 block of Idaho for the report of a kidnapping. A woman reported she was taken at gunpoint from her home in Dalton Gardens at 10 this morning and held by a man whom she knows. The victim is now safe after being let go on Idaho Street by the suspect. Officers are searching for a male driving a blue Town and Country van with a possible license plate of K303434. The male was last seen in the vehicle going northbound on Lincoln Way from the area of Idaho Street. Citizens are advised to not approach the male if he is spotted. Call 911 and report it immediately/Sgt. Christie Wood, Coeur d'Alene Police Department.
