Hump Day Wild Card — 11.6.13

I've been thinking about Winners & Losers since it became apparent that the Balance North Idaho ticket was going to prevail in Coeur d'Alene. The biggest winners? The young families of Coeur d'Alene, who now can expect a progressive -- and I'm not afraid to use that word that seems to choke the RINO ideologues among us -- the completion of the Four Corners project, the Education Corridor and much more. The biggest losers are the CAVErs who have fought every good public project in this town for the last decade. Next time you hear one of the naysayers pop off about McEuen, LCDC, etc., you have Huckleberries permission to tell them to shut up. Now for the first Wild Card in the rest of our lives ...
