Sara: Mary Finally Got Her Vote

Above, Becky Funk, campaign manager for Mary Souza, stands on corner of H95/Appleway, with a hand-drawn sign that indicates she thought yesterday's vote was as much about the recall effort as anything else. (Photo: Duane Rasmussen)

Sara Meyer: Mary finally got her vote and the people came out and voted. The majority of people in CdA do not want Mary's style of government. Will Mary finally realize that after she lost to Kennedy, lost the recall and now lost her bid for Mayor that the majority of people in CdA do not want her? I sure hope so. The term "three strikes and your out" keeps coming to mind.

Question: If Souza & Co. had been successful in triggering a recall effort, do you think the vote would have turned out as it did last night?
